What makes this different from other groups?

This is not a 45 second elevator pitch from everyone in the room, or an endless supply of business cards. This is a strategic conversation with other leaders in your area. Each month we focus on helping each other become 1% better just for being there.

Ready to break out of the usual networking rut?

Strategies, Sticks, and Stones is your monthly chance to connect with like-minded business owners, exchange growth strategies, and unwind with a premium cigar (or just enjoy the atmosphere—no smoking required).

FAQs

Your Quick Guide to Networking Success and Strategic Growth

Why is it called "Strategies, Sticks and Stones"?

We discuss specific business strategies, enjoy a cigar (stick), and many of our group members may enjoy a drink on the rocks (stones).

Why does it take place from 3:30-5:30 PM? That seems odd.

This is a business networking and growth event. Your business already demands so much of your time and takes time from friends and family. Strategies, Sticks and Stones wants to make sure that we don't take from that time.

Am I the right person for this group?

If you own, lead, or support a small business—and you’re looking to grow, learn, and connect—you’re welcome here, even if you don't smoke cigars. We still ask that you purchase something from the venue as a thank you to them for the space.

What does it cost to join?

We don't charge anything to be in the group. We do expect each person to purchase at least one cigar from the location (generally we ask that you spend $15-$20 per meeting).

Can I invite others?

Absolutely. Feel free to invite a friend, colleague, or fellow business owner. Just make sure they RSVP as well so we can plan accordingly.

This is an "Open/Closed" group. That means that anyone is welcome to visit, but not everyone will become a member. We have a limit of two people per industry. And, if you commit to attending but don't show up without informing the leader, you may lose your invitation permanently.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, your business cards, and an open mind. If you have a specific lighter or cutter, then bring that. But, there will be plenty there if you don't have those. .
