Program 01 · Peer Group Membership

The Room Where Agency Owners Actually Talk.

A curated group of non-competing independent P&C agency owners meeting monthly — to share what's working, pressure-test decisions, and hold each other to the goals that actually move the needle.

Group Structure

≤10
Agency owners per group — small enough that everyone has time, large enough for real diversity of experience
2 hrs
Monthly structured meeting — facilitated, not free-form. Every session ends with documented takeaways.
0
Competing agencies per group — your market is yours. We map every member's book before placement.
P&C Only
Independent P&C agency owners exclusively — no captive agents, no life/health-only shops

How the Peer Group Works

This isn't a networking group where you swap business cards and hear a speaker. Every meeting is structured around your actual business challenges — with peers who can actually help because they've faced the same ones.

01

You Apply — We Vet Fit

Every applicant goes through a brief discovery conversation before placement. We're checking market overlap, agency stage, and whether you're actually ready to be held accountable — not just networking. If it's not the right fit, we'll tell you.

02

You're Placed in a Curated Group

Groups are built intentionally. No competing markets. A mix of agency sizes and specialties. Enough commonality that the conversations are relevant, enough diversity that you get perspectives you don't have in your own shop.

03

Monthly Facilitated Meetings

Two hours. Structured agenda. Each member gets dedicated floor time to present an active challenge, receive structured peer input, and update the group on their commitments from last month. Facilitated — so nobody rambles and nobody gets ignored.

04

Accountability Between Sessions

You leave each meeting with specific commitments. Your accountability partner checks in between sessions. By the time the next meeting rolls around, you either made progress — or you explain to the group why you didn't. That's the mechanism.

What a Monthly Meeting Looks Like

0:00 – 0:20
State of the Agency
Each member gives a 60-second update on their top metric or win since last session. Keeps the group current without eating the clock.
0:20 – 1:20
Deep Dives
Two to three members present an active challenge. Group asks clarifying questions, then offers structured perspective. No lectures — peer input only.
1:20 – 1:45
Industry Intelligence
Carrier movement, market shifts, tech updates, regulatory changes. What's relevant to P&C independents right now — shared openly, no competitive hesitation.
1:45 – 2:00
Commitments
Every member states one specific commitment for the next 30 days. Documented. Reviewed next session. This is where the accountability is built.

What Membership Includes

🧠

Monthly Facilitated Group Meeting

Two structured hours with your peer group every month. Facilitated by Gadal Strategies to keep sessions productive and equitable — every member gets floor time, every session produces takeaways.

🤝

Accountability Partner Program

Paired with a fellow group member between sessions for check-ins on your monthly commitments. The partnership is what separates this from a once-a-month networking call.

🎤

Industry Guest Speakers

Quarterly guest speakers from inside the P&C industry — carrier reps, compliance specialists, agency acquisition advisors, and other practitioners. Relevant to your business, not generic motivational content.

📊

Shared Market Intelligence

What's happening with specific carriers? Which markets are tightening? What's the word on E&O pricing? Group members share operational intelligence that never makes it into a trade publication.

📋

Meeting Documentation

Every session produces a written summary of commitments made. You know exactly what you said you'd do and what your peers committed to. No ambiguity, no "I forgot."

Agency Growth Blueprint Access

Peer Group members get access to the Agency Growth Blueprint framework — so your discussions are grounded in a shared strategic vocabulary, not just gut instinct.

Is This the Right Fit for You?

This Is For You If…

  • You own an independent P&C agency and you're making decisions without anyone who truly understands your business to push back on them
  • You're ready to be held accountable to specific goals — not just talk about them
  • You want peers who have skin in the game, not consultants who charge by the hour
  • You're willing to be honest about where your agency actually is — not just where you want it to be
  • You see sharing intelligence with non-competing peers as a competitive advantage

This Isn't For You If…

  • You're a captive agent or work primarily in life/health lines
  • You want a place to network and collect referrals, not to be held accountable
  • You're not willing to share what's actually happening in your business
  • You can't commit to monthly attendance — the value comes from consistency
  • You're looking for generic business advice that isn't specific to P&C agency ownership
"

Most of the decisions I was getting wrong weren't bad decisions — they were just made without anyone who had actually faced the same choice. The group changed that completely.

Common Questions

Who is the peer group designed for?

Independent P&C insurance agency owners in the United States. We do not include captive agents or non-P&C lines. Groups are kept small — 10 members maximum — and no two agencies in the same group compete in the same market.

How often does the group meet?

Once per month for two structured hours. Meetings are facilitated — not open-ended conversation — so every session produces actionable takeaways for every member.

What do we actually talk about?

Real business issues: producer recruiting, carrier relationships, books of business that aren't growing, comp structure, retention, profitability, agency valuation, and the market shifts that affect your agency. Each member presents an active challenge and receives structured peer input.

How is this different from a trade association?

Trade associations are broadcast. This is a working group. You're not attending a conference — you're sitting across from five to ten peers who know your agency, hold you accountable, and have skin in the game because you're holding them accountable too.

How do I apply?

Submit an application below. We review every application to ensure fit — both for your agency and for the group you'd be joining. If there's a match, we schedule a brief discovery call before placement.

Ready to Stop Making Big Decisions Alone?

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Group placement depends on market availability — some markets fill quickly. If you're considering it, now is the time to apply.
